In order to rest the odometer's trip meter on Your 2018 AudiA4 all You will need to do is hold down the trip/odo button for several seconds. If You have done this and it still has not worked then You can attempt to disconnect the battery for 10 to 20 minutes so that the vehicle will restore to it's factory settings. This can be frustrating however because You're going to lose all the settings You have put in to Your vehicle.

On my On my 2018 AllRoad A4, the odometer reset button is to the right of the steering column on the dashboard panel. It’s a physical button all by itself, about the size of a keyboard keycap.
