Resetting the rear window on a Toyota Sequoia is as simple as pushing the window down button and holding it. While holding it, press the window up button so that it begins to close. As Your window rolls up, make sure to keep holding the window down button. This should reset the rear window, as well as the motor in the Toyota Sequoia. If this doesnt work, consult Your ownership manual for a detailed walk through of the process. If You still have issues, there may be more serious problems with Your vehicle. At this point, Youll likely need to perform a full diagnostic of the cars digital and electronic components. Its best to get this done at an auto shop or dealership.

To reset the rear window on your toyota sequoia you will need to press the window all the way down, hold it down until the window begins to roll up, and then the motor is reset.

1st gen Toyota Sequoia,(2001-2006) If the rear hatch (5th door) window lift is not functioning the first thing to try is removing that doors panel and you'll have access to the window motor and regulator. There are two bolts with 10mm head very close to each other that are lined up vertically. They are adjustments to the regulator. Loosen both up a couple turns but do not remove them. Now with the ignition key on, push the rear window button. Up, down whatever, your glass should be moving now.Retighten the 2 bolts and install the door panel. When the rear glass has not been operated for a while it will get stuck. This fix has worked on countless Sequoias. All that about "reset" the rear window might be a later generation of sequoias, but since the questions posted did not specify a particular year I addressed the model year I know how to fix.
