Resetting the timing belt light on the 2014 Chevy Cruze is not too hard to do. First makes sure the key is turned to the on position. To the left of the steering, collum will be a dial You can turn, set it to the menu. Now using the arrow keys scroll through until You see a button that says replace the timing belt. This will tell the car that You have replaced the belt and the light will go out. However if the belt still needs replacing, or it was not put on right then the light will come back on. The only way to stop that is to fic the belt. A new belt will be about 100 and it will cost another 100 for a shop to put it on.

To reset the timing belt light on your 2014 chevy cruze click menu on the turn signal lever to the left of the steering column until the vehicle information menu appears. Scroll thru the screens by rotating the lever a few times until the replace timing belt item is displayed. Press and hold the set button on the end of the lever. It will ask are you sure you want to reset? Rotate the lever to select yes and hit the select button again to confirm. Make sure you have changed your timing belt before resetting this. Severe engine damage may occur if the timing belt is not changed on a regular schedule.
