The Suburban has a large engine and as such, requires more oil. To do an oil change you must have 8 quarts of 0W-20 synthetic oil for this vehicle. Be careful, if you are changing your own oil, to make sure you have the right kind and amount of oil. This engine will overheat with the wrong type or amount. There are also service stations and repair shops that can change oil for you.
