The engine oil capacity for the 2015 Chevrolet Equinox is different for each model based on the type of engine. The L, LS, LT 4-cylinder and LTZ 4-cylinder models take about about 5 quarts of engine oil. The LT 6-cylinder and LTZ 6-cylinder models take about 6 quarts of engine oil.
