The Ford Flex when in it's standard configuration would have a maximum towing capacity of 2000 pounds. If You have a model that was equipped with Ford's optional towing package then that will raise Your capacity limit up to 4500 pounds. At 2000 pounds You'll be able to haul smaller travel trailers and a medium sized boat. A couple ATVs or motorcycles depending on how large they are. You're a bit limited if Your vehicle is only 2000 pounds. Those with the upgraded towing package will be able to tow larger boats and medium sized travel trailers no problem. You can have a lot more adventure in Your Ford Flex if it has this upgrade.
