A general guideline to follow for spark plugs in the Chevy Colorado is to replace them either every 5 years or 150,000 miles. Over time like any other component Your spark plugs can wear down and go bad. Since they are responsible for creating the spark that will start Your engine it's very important that You have them replaced prior to them completely failing on You. If You notice Your engine mIS Firing, a lack of acceleration, worse fuel efficiency than usual, or rough idling then it's possible that they are beginning to fail. You don't want to continue driving for long if You think this is the problem so try to get to a mechanic quickly. -
