The first step to change a headlight bulb in a 2011 chevy equinox is to turn the wheels all the way to get room for repair. With a torx t20 star bit screwdriver, remove the single screw on the access panel by turning it clockwise against. Turn the dust cap 1/4 in clockwise direction, and pull it straight out. Release tab on the black plastic power connector, and pull the plug straight off the base of the low beam bulb. Take the old bulb out and put new bulb in its place.
