To remove the 3rd-row seat in a Chevy Tahoe You will need a 15mm socket, ratchet, and a small screwdriver. To start You will remove the accessory tray and remove the floor lining mat. Then You can look underneath the seats where 10x1.5mm hexBolts are placed. Next, raise the seats and remove the 3 accessor covers as well as the 3 forward retaining bolts. Put the seat up and then find the electrical lifting tab with a screwdriver and then You can proceed to take out the seat. The amount of time required to remove the seat is about an hour. This will allow You to have more room in the back seat to carry larger loads.

To remove the third row of seats from the chevy tahoe you will need to pull up on the lever that is on the bottom of it to release it from the bars where the feet meet in the floor.
