It's a bit weird trying to jump start a 2013 Volkswagen Touareg, since the battery is located under the driver's seat. However, there are actually terminals under the hood of Your engine. Go ahead and pop it open, and You should see a small cover on the right hand side of the engine. If You pull that up, You'll see two terminals, one with a red plastic cover. Hook up the positive lead from the other battery to that terminal, and then connect the ground cable to the other vehicle's negative terminal, and clamp that on a naked metal surface on Your VW. Then, simply proceed to jump start as You normally would.

You will need to connect the battery to the battery of another car, then you can jump the car.
