Opening the gas tank on a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder is pretty easy to do but it is slightly different than a lot of the other vehicles on the market. There is not a fuel door release button in the vehicle anywhere so You have to open it from the outside. To open the fuel door all You need to do is make sure that Your SUV is unlocked. Next head to the gas door and tap on the right side of it and then it will spring open. To close it You will just need to press it once and it will click and lock into place. This is a simpler way of handling the fuel door compared to a button or lever that was common in older vehicles.

To open the gas tank on a 2018 nissan pathfinder, be sure to unlock the doors, then push in on the right side of the fuel door and pull it open. Turn the gas cap counter clockwise to remove.

If your gas tank door is stuck and is not opening with whatever Nissan told you. Make sure your seat heating is off if it's on just turn it off come out of the press unlock car button on your fob and your gas tank door will open.
