To perform the 2014Cadillac ATS oil reset, watch: https://www.Youtube.com/watch?v=B9rL6ItFQfM Having high quality oil is key for the engine to run smoothly. You will run into issues with the oil at some point. A common problem is an awful burning odor. This needs to be viewed closely as soon as possible or the car might explode. Bad oil can cause the engine to fail. Knocking noise may show up from the engine. You could experience poor gas mileage. Your oil needs to be changed out someday. Every 5,000 to 10,000 miles or so is a good rule of thumb. If You don't replace it, there will be problems with the engine.

To reset the oil light on the 2014 cadillac ats, turn the ignition key to the "on" position without starting the engine. Push the up or down arrow button before you see the "oil life remaining" on the phone. Finally, push and hold the reset button until the oil life shifts to 100%.
