It is pretty easy to do an oil life rest in the 2017 Hyundai Sonata and only takes a couple minutes. All You need to do is use the buttons on the steering wheel. First find the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel and look for the top most left button that is to the left of the cruise button. Press it until service required is displayed on the screen. Once service required is displayed it will also say hold ok to reset. Find the ok button which is also on the right side of the steering wheel but at the bottom left. Hold it until it resets and then 91 days and 3,000 miles will be displayed which is how long until the next oil change.

To perform an oil reset on the 2017 hyundai sonata you need to turn it on, but do not start the engine. Find the reset button on the console dash and hold it. When the light blinks and stops turn the vehicle off and wait 5 min. Your oil is now reset.
