First, put the key into the ignition slot and set it to the RUN position. Then, on the digital interface, navigate to the Vehicle Info section. This should open up a sub-menu. Here, simply select the Oil Life option. This will prompt another screen to pop-up, and should have the words Oil Life on the screen. When this happens, turn off the ignition. Then start the engine and check if the light has been reset. You can also find a complete and detailed walk-through of this process in Your owner's manual, so consult it if Youre having any difficulties. Keep in mind that resetting Your oil light does not mean it will not return if the oil is still in need of attention.

To perform a reset for the 2012 chrysler 200 oil light you will, without starting the engine, turn the ignition to the on / run mode. Move the gas pedal slowly three times in 10 seconds. Change the ignition switch to the lock button. Repeat this process if the indicator appears again after the engine is started.
