The Fort Taurus has a universal garage door opener that can be progRammed to open garage doors and electronic gates pretty easily. To progRam it You will need to get the stock opener that came with Your garage or gate. First what You will need to do is put the vehicle in the on position. Next hold the remote You want to use to progRam it 1 to 3 inches away from the button You want to progRam. Now press and hold both the remote and the button You want to progRam. Keep them held until the universal garage door light blinks slowly. Once they blink slowly You can press and hold the button for five seconds to test and see if it works.

To program the in-car garage door opener, press and hold both the garage door opener and homelink buttons simultaneously. When the homelink starts to blink quickly, release the buttons. Then hold the homelink button for 5 seconds by itself.
