For the 2018 Ford Focus you'll be able to find the fuel door on the passenger side of the vehicle by the rear wheel. You just need to push in on the fuel door and it will pop open. Once the door is open you'll notice there is no filler cap for this vehicle. You just need to insert the nozzle and begin pumping. These capless systems are becoming more common and they work by sealing themselves with a spring-loaded mechanism until a fuel nozzle is inserted. It's a bit of a convenience issue and will save you a little bit of time and it cuts down on the risk of losing a gas cap and having gasoline slosh out of your vehicle. - Scott L.

The ford focus has a capless fuel filler. Insert the pump and fill with gas until full, or desired limit (if less than full) is reached. Wait five seconds, then remove the nozzle of the pump from the filler.
