To remove the center console on a Ford Ranger You will need a couple of things, a screwdriver and a wrench. Start by opening the lid of the center console. At the bottom of the console are a pair of screws. Remove those and store them somewhere. Now look around the outside of the console and You will see a pair of bolts. Remove these as well. You can now lift the console up, but don't pull too far. You need to remove the wires that are connecting it on the bottom, if You yank it You will rip them. Once the wires are removed You can remove the console from the car by lifting it straight up and then out.
