To reset the oil light for the Buick Enclave, watch: https://www.Youtube.com/watch?v=6Jl5qDdDqm4 Your oil needs to be changed eventually. Every 5,000 to 10,000 miles is a good rule of thumb. If You don't change it, there will be problems with the engine. Having high quality oil is key for the engine to run smoothly. You will run into issues with the oil at some point. A common problem is an awful burning smell. This needs to be inspected as soon as possible or the car might explode. Bad oil can cause the engine to stop working. You could experience terrible gas mileage. Knocking noise may come about from the engine.

Switch the key to drive (one place before starting the engine) to reset the oil light in the Buick Enclave. Click the vehicle information button I before OIL LIFE REMAINING is activated. Click and hold the SET / RESET button until 100 percent is seen. You'll hear 3 chimes and the CHANGE ENGINE OIL Early message will go off. Start the engine and verify that the CHANGE OIL SOON light goes out (if this doesn't happen, shut the engine off and repeat the steps).
