The beeping sound in your Ford Transit is due to the backup alarm. To stop the beeping, you need to pop the hood and go into the fuse boxAnd disengage the F4 fuse. This will stop the backup alarm. This alarm kicks in and beeping starts whenever you try to reverse your Transit. It is pretty loud and becomes annoying after a certain amount of time. The primary function of this alarm is to alert any pedestrians that you are reversing your car. But it can cause quite a ruckus when reversing late at night, so removing the fuse will permanently solve your problem.

Go into the fuse box that is underneath the hood, and pull the f4 fuse to disengage the back up alarm.
