How to turn off running boards on Lincoln Navigator?

To disable Your power running boards on Your Lincoln Navigator You will press the menu options on the key pad on steering wheel. You will then scroll through the options to find settings > advanced settings. Click this and it will take You to another option screen where You select vehicle. And You will see the pwr running board option which will allow You to turn them off, on, or put on Auto. It is good to turn the power running boards off during the winter to protect the running board mechanicals from salt, snow, rust, etc.. The auto option will allow the running boards to go up and down depending when You stop the vehicle and put it in park or turn the ignition off.
