The speed limiter in the Ford Transit can be easily turned off or set to a different speed by reprogRamming the ECU. It will take about haLFAn hour to one complete hour but can be done without any additional parts only by changing the settings of the ECU. Bear in mind that you will have to go to a local mechanic to get this reprogRammed as no Ford verified auto-service providers will do this. Be sure to go to a good mechanic so that other progRams might not be disturbed in the ECU. Also doing this in the warranty period might be grounds to void your warranty, so keep that in mind before getting the speed limiter off.

Use a boot tool to reflash the ecm to a program that will enable the 100 mph speed lock.
