When the Toyota Matrix Tire pressure light is blinking it usually indicates that the battery for the sensor are dead or there is a faulty sensor. The first thing to do is check the battery and then check to see if You can reset the TPMS by properly inflating the tires. You will turn the vehicle ignition to the "on" position but don't start the car. Hold the TPMS button until the light blinks three times and release it. The reset button is usually found underneath the steering wheel. The sensors are located on the rim of the tire and they will be required to be changed by a certified mechanic.

If your tpms light is steadily illuminated in your toyota matrix it usually indicates low tire pressure. If the light constantly blinks, try resetting it and check the battery of your tpms' sensors.
