Is Infiniti m35x use timing belt or chain

For the INFINITIM35x for the years 2006 througH2006 they come equipped with a timing chain rather than a timing belt. The timing chain generally doesn't need to be replaced unlike the timing belt. The reason why a belt needs to be replaced every now and then is because it is housed on the outside of the engine and it is exposed whereas the chain is on the inside and isn't as exposes. There are some cases where the chain might end up failing and will have to get replaced but it isn't common like the belt. It might become loose or too worn for some reason and You can tell why if You hear more noise coming from it or issues with the timing.
