While many owners have complained about the backup camera failing on the 2014 Honda Accord there was no official recall that was issued. If Your camera is not working make sure You check the fuse first. To get to the fuse box underneath the hood of the car You will want to pop the hood and latch it open. Along the right-hand side of the engine compartment will be a black box or case. You will see that it has a seam that runs around it. If You pop this open You will find the fuse inside. On the back of the lid for the case will be a diagram of what fuse is for what. If this is not on the back of the box then You can also find it in the owner's manual for the car. Once You have figured out which fuse You need simply pull it out. The two sections that stick up should be connected by a thin strip of metal. If this has been broken then the fuse is no good and will need to be replaced. If this strip is there then the fuse is fine and can be popped back in. New fuses will cost You about 10 dollars, so they are pretty cheap. If this is not the issue then You will need to have the camera changed out, which will cost You about 200 to 300 at a mechanic.
