If You need to lower Your spare wheel on a Ford Transit Tipper there are a few steps that You will need to follow. First You will need to open the rear doors and You can find a protective cover that is in the floor of the vehicle at the rear. Remove that cover and You will have access to the lowering system. Next assemble Your vehicle's tire change tool and You can slide that down into the hole. Rotate the tool in a counter clockwise motion and that will lower the chain that the wheel and tire are on at the bottom of the van. After that You can slide it out and replace it.

To remove the spare wheel on a ford transit tipper you should take the following steps: open the offside rear door and then you will see a protection bolt that you have to remove on the floor panel in the door shut, then a hole in the at the back that you have to put the wheel brace end into to undo the cable unit, this will lower the spare wheel.
