As the owner of a FIAT 500 TwinAir, You may be concerned about any potential issues regarding the engine. There have been a handful of complaints. Most of the reports for this make and model involve problems such as stalling suddenly while driving, lurching forward of the engine, and shaking or vibrating during idle times. You also may experience poor acceleration, and a loss of performance for the engine. If the entire engine has to be replaced, You will need to pay between $680 and $2580 for a new one, in parts alone. Labor to have it performed by a professional can exceed $500 to $1400.

If the FIAT 500 twinair is having issues with the engine then it can experience a wide variety of problems. Not starting, stalling out, shaking when idle, weak acceleration, and general poor performance are all common engine related issues.

I'm having the same issue as marie 0.9 twin air, we are waiting for a part of the motor replacement that comes from italy, somesensor is overheating and the car cuts off the turbo, when that happens you drive a 2 cylinder without a turbo. It's like driving with a motorcycle motor, the gears don't match (it's manual) underpowered motor. We are paying for that repair 1500€but we already payed 80 for he spark plugs replacement (we thought it was that) and 280 for trying to clean out that valve that is no working properly 😢
