Some issues You may encounter when the Ford Transit's body control module (BCM) is starting to or has failed are: Your electronic components will only operate intermittently. You'll find the lights, or the radio, or maybe even Your gauges, won't function at all, or display random information, and the door locks and power windows stop functioning and then work again, maybe within the same engine cycle. Your vehicle anti-theft security system keeps triggering, despite the battery in the key fob and vehicle being fully charged. You get seemingly random check engine lights (CELs) illuminating, with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) that don't seem to make any sense. Your Transit doesn't start at all: This can be a lot of things, like a dead battery and the starter, obviously, as well as a dying/dead fuel pump, but if You've checked everything and are scratching Your head trying to think of what You've overlooked, it very well might be the BCM.

If the Ford transit is having issues with the body control module then it will have shaking, reduced acceleration, and it will misfire when the engine is on.
