The 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid is said to have situations where the power steering can go out completely during a drive. Others have reported strange noises while turning such as a loud squeaking or groaning. There are times when some consumers have had problems controlling the vehicle due to malfunctioning of the power steering system along with the breaking system. Often times failure will be caused by a fluid leak due to damage at the hoses and/or seals. When the fluid level has reached a certain low point the power steering pump will overheat and wear out. In this situation hydraulic pressure is lost resulting in lack of power steering altogether.

The 2007 toyota camry hybrid power steering problems include stiff steering, difficulty steering, and failure of the steering pump.
Toyota needs to fix this because this hybrid has been a pain in the a$$. How can so many have the same issue and nothing be done by this industry. This almost caused my 17 yr old son to lose his life. Maybe reaching out to a credible news station may at least get theyre attention. Ridiculous!!!
