The most common problems with the 2010 Mercedes GLK 350 transfer case are usually caused by damage to the seals. When the seals on this transfer case start to fail they allow debris in them and that in turn damages the gears and chains that are inside of it. Another problem that can happen with Your transfer case are just fluid losses. When there is not enough fluid in it then the gears will grind against each other and that can cause permanent damage to them as well. I recommend keeping an eye on Your SUV to make sure that there are not any leaks.
