Fuel pump, injection pump, & injector failures are common problems with the 2019 Ram 2500. The purpose of the fuel pump is to push the fuel from the tank to the injectors. Labor costs are estimated between $120 and $260, while parts are priced between $100 and $850.To get Your injector pump replaced, You are looking at anywhere from $1,400 to $1,880. For labor, You should pay between $770 and $1,000, while parts will run between $690 and $900.

The 6.4 Hemi has seen issues with oil starvation in the heads that leads to lifters being stuck and it can flatten out the cam. Pretty easy to avoid. Darius M.'s answer is common issues with the diesel, RAM addressed it by going to the CP4 in the MY21 2500
