Some of the main problems with the AudiA5 3.0 TDI include problems with the water pump, door locking issues and problems with overheating. All of these problems can be fixed so it is not too big of a deal if You have an issue with any of these. The water pump issue and the overheating issues can also be linked to one another. If the water pump fails coolant will go away and let water into the engine causing the engine to heat up extremely quickly and possibly overheat. Some of the door locking issues with the A5 could be the car not locking or unlocking or just a certain door not unlocking or locking. To repair the door locks on the vehicle it would cost anywhere from $100 to $120 in labor costs.
