The transmission for an Audi RS3 is known to have issues with getting stuck in first gear but also struggling to shift to higher gears. Many owners of this vehicle have noticed that this problem will be more apparent when you're driving in city traffic and having to shift gears constantly. If you transmission is slipping then in general it may be time to take it in for a transmission fluid change. The fluids are going to need to be changed out on this vehicle every 30,000 to 40,000 miles. If you want to take it to a shop it'll cost between $150 and $250.
