Chevy Cruze has been known to have ignition switch problems which has been common to customers. There was also a GM recall on the same issue, although it is claimed to have an effect on other GM models. Some of the other signs reported by the driver are blinking warning lights, stalling when idle, and not starting when the ignition turned to the on position. The first thing You find is that there will be an error code P1682 anytime You use an OBD scanner. The fix is not too complicated, so You're going to have to remove the ignition and fix the connection. The contacts inside the ignition switch will be worn and this will cause a momentary loss of voltage to the component and will stall the engine. One thing You can do to try and avoid the problem is only having one key on Your key ring to avoid heavy keys that will ultimately tug on the switch and cause it to wear a lot faster.

Some of the ignition switch problems in a Chevy Cruze are a blown fuse, damaged ignition relay/switch, and a faulty wiring harness.
