The Chevy S-10 headlight problems are blown fuse and loose wire. The light bulbs will stop working eventually. If it becomes dull, You will have to replace them. They aren't that expensive, so they won't hurt Your bank account. Being able to see at night is important for driving down the road. Your lights need to be working or You may get into a wreck. Some issues will show up at some point. A failed relay equals a failed light source. Corrosion is very bad to deal with. A faulty wire may come about. Lights might burn out prematurely. Blown fuse can come about. These issues need to be dealt with quickly.

The headlights have been a source of complaint for the Chevy S10. They are known to intermittently turn off while driving. Sometimes, they remain off for a few seconds. In most cases the wiring needs to be replaced.
