The part in Your Kia Sorento that sprays fuel into the cylinders of the engine is called a fuel injector. There is one injector for each cylinder so if You have A4Cylinder You have four injectors and a V6 has SRX. Even though there are no common reported problems with the injectors on the Sorento they, like all other parts, can and will go bad eventually. When these parts do fail You will experience some pretty noticeable symptoms. The first thing You may notice is a loss of power especially when accelerating at full throttle. You may also have trouble starting the car or keeping it running after it has been sitting for more than an hour.

If your Kia Sorento is difficult to start or idling roughly your fuel injectors may be clogged or d***y or the MAP sensor may need to be replaced.
