The Mercedes GL350 Bluetec is rated as highly reliable from most consumer reports as always there may be a few problems. Some of the issues that have been listed are the Diesel particulate filter getting d***y, faulty exhaust pressure sensor, and the DPF heater not working in cold weather because of burn out. Aside from some of the minor issues that have been talked about it is known that Mercedes-Benz manufacturer makes some of the best and most reliable diesel engines in the world. BlueTEC engines are one of the most advanced diesel engines and allow the vehicle to have a high-pressure fuel injection system and turbochargers to ensure optimal power and efficiency.

Worst car I ever owned. Constantly going in count down mode. Traded it in for less that $4500. Beautiful car always garage kept. Money pit big time.
