The Mercedes sprinter sliding door problems usually are caused by an issue with the alignment of the track. Sliding doors use a complex system, comprised of a motor, chain drive, and gears to open and close a door, automatically setting into a locking position. They are designed to remain in the locking position no matter how hard or soft You drive. If You have a rattling noise, fixing the rattling sound is straightforward. Access the lower track that Your sliding door rides on, wipe it clean of debris using a dry rag, and use white lithium grease spray and wipe it against the track. Be sure to apply a generous coating. Use a thin spray tube to reach deep into crevices where fingers or brushes cannot reach. Do not forget to address the door latch or wheELRiding on the track.
