The most common problems with the Porsche Cayenne panoRamic roof are usually related to opening and closing the glass. There is an electric motor that moves the glass open and closed and when this has problems it will not work properly. The glass for the panoRamic roof also travels in a track that can become d***y over time. When this happens it may bind up the roof and not let it open properly. You can usually clean this out with a silicone spray. The last and least common problem involves the gaskets around the roof failing. This can happen in rare instances and when it does it will allow water to enter the cabin from the roof.

Our 2005 S has the panoramic sunroof. It lets in too much heat and squeaks when it's hot outside. I would never get another one, but my husband loves it. It feels sorts of like a convertible. I prefer the small roof as the larger blows my hair too much.
