The Subaru Forester steering rack problems are tight steering wheel and power steering fluid leaks. Having great steering is important for changing lanes and moving about on the road. You will eventually come across some problems though. Steering fluid can leak at one point. It may turn to one side. The steering wheel can become stuck. The strut bearings could become bad. The rack mount could become faulty. The steering pump might become loose and that will be disaster for Your vehicle. The power steering fluid needs to be replaced every 75,000 miles. Along with changing fluids, You will hear noises from steering parts. A faulty bearing will make a nasty sound. A loose bearing will become irritable to the ear.

Subaru forester steering rack problems can be caused by damaged gears in the rack and pinion or a failed electronic motor.
