The Toyota Land Cruiser abs problems are screeching sounds and faulty brake pads. Brake equipment will become old and will need to be replaced at some point. The brake pads and shoes need replacing every 50,000 miles. The brake rotors need to be changed every 60,000 miles. The brake fluid needs to be changed every 20,000 to 45,000 miles. Your brakes need to be in the best condition. Having faulty brakes will lead into issues. The brakes can lock up, which will result in car crashes. A loose bearing can make for poor stops. Screeching sounds can arise from low brake fluid. Bad brake pads will result in problems with the vehicle stopping. Premature brake wear is an issue that needs to be looked into.

To reset the brake light or the ABS sensor on the Toyota Land Cruiser you need to disconnect the battery and hold down the brake pedal for 30 seconds. If you dont then the abs system may not work, causing the braking to be unreliable on the vehicle. If the light is not working then you may need a new bulb or the wires have gone bad.
