The most common navigation problems with the Volvo XC60 are usually software based, although there can be hardware problems with the unit or antenna as well. If Your navigation is not working properly there are a few things that You should check out. The first thing You should do when the navigation system is not working right is restart the head unit. Often a software bug can cause the system to freeze up and need to be restarted. You will want to make sure that You update the software. If the screen is not working that is usually a problem with the head unit itself not getting power, be sure to check the fuse to it. If Your vehicle cannot be located on a map then that is most likely an antenna problem.

Several: We have an XC60, 2020 model 1)Radio Traffic Information does not come on and alert traffic problems, 2) the Sensus Navigation DOES NOT SHOW TRAFFIC PROBLEMS on the route to help choose an alternative route, this caused us getting stuck in enormous traffic jams, several times; this is a major issue. Even less sophisticated and older guidance systems indicate these 3) the maps do not have all the destinations available, Google maps shows the needed destinations 4)map guidance on the screen is diametrically opposite to the voice guidance. ALL in all, the worst navigation system to date and we have had at least 20 before this one

Volvo xc60 navigation problems include frozen head units that need to be rebooted in order to work.
