As the owner of a Volkswagen Passat, You may discover that You are having problems with Your infotainment unit. The most common symptoms experienced for this model is loss of the display screen, or going black. This is usually the result of one of a couple of potential issues. You should check the wiring for any damage, breaking, or loose connections. If it needs to be replaced it will cost between $13 and $46 for parts alone. You should also try cleaning the screen, and checking to see if it needs to be updated. If a fuse has blown, it can cost You between $17 and $45 to replace it.

If the vw Passat is having issues with the SYNC system then the touch screen may be d***y, it may not be updated, or it may have bad wires.
