I purchased a used 2018 with 35K miles on at and it still does it. Took it Honda and they kept it for 2 days. The tech felt the hard shifting and relayed it to Honda tech and they him it was normal and it will not cause any damage. Make sure you have them note it on the invoice for your records. They didnt do it on mine
