If the Chevy Cruze has an oil leak then You will notice several things. One You will have low oil pressure which will make the car run badly. Second, You will find that the oil light and the check engine light will come on and not turn off. You need to have this fixed, as low oil can lead to a host of other problems. Oil leaks are common from the lines, which can dry rot, or from the connections which can have the o-rings come loose or the sockets break. Finally, You may have a leak from the pan itself, but this would require some heavy damage, so it would be pretty hard to miss. Think a big hole in the metal container.

There are multiple causes of an oil leak in a chevy cruze, but it is most likely related to a temperature change.
