The biggest problem that come up with a throttle position sensor is that it will fail. Sensors in cars have the ability to fail at any time since they are juSTSimple electrical items that can wear out over time. If Your throttle position sensor is failing You will usually notice that the vehicle is unresponsive when You use the gas pedal. It can also lead to the vehicle idling rough because it will not keep the throttle body open properly. The throttle position sensor has the job of getting the signals from Your gas pedal and using that to control how opened or closed the main throttle body is.
