The Jeep Wrangler alpine premium Audio system specs are two upper dash speakers, two lower dash speakers, two left side soundbar speakers, two right side soundbar speakers = 8, plus a subwoofer for a total of 9. The subwoofer has four 2 ohm voice coils. They are powered by four channels of the factory Alpine 552 watt 12 channel amp, with the other eight speakers each powered by their dedicated channel. The factory sub sees about 184 watts from the combined four channels, and I'd suspect its RMS power handling is pretty close to that.

All 2 ohmspeakers in the the factory alpine system. If you are just replacing speakers to upgrade make sure you use 2 ohm impedance speakers like Kicker 42PSC652 https://www.crutchfield.com/p_2062PSC652/Kicker-42PSC652.html?tp=78072 which work in the knee panel and overhead speaker bar. Also if you use the METRA connectors make sure you have the polarity ri hooking them right ( instructions ) = chances are they will be reverse polarity and makes it sound worse. A great system but if you just grab Speakers from amazon etc they will probably be 4 ohm speakers =half the sound for the wattage coming out of a 2 ohm amp speaker amplifier. 8 spkr+Sub is a good system and can be made better by choosing 2 ohm speakers.
