The speaker sizes stated for the Toyota Highlander are 6x9" for front door speakers, 6 3/4" rear door, and 3 1/2" center dash and corner dash. Replacing the speakers is not difficult, but if there are any signs of rust or damage to the wiring, You will have to find a new wiring harness. It can at times be difficult removing the speakers from the door but be gentle and use a small screwdriver to get the speakers loose from the insert position. Depending on the brand and quality of speakers You select, the cost for new speakers can range from $50 to $200 on average. The price will range from $100 - $150 for maintenance and installation if You want to take it to a car Audio store.
