If You own a Chevrolet Trax, You may find that lights occasionally illuminate on Your dashboard. One of these lights is a well known one...the check engine light. Several things could cause the check engine light to appear. You may be running low on gas, transmission fluid, antifreeze, or oil. You also may have had a sudden less of pressure from the engine. You may even have a low battery charge, due to bad spark plugs, loose or faulty connections, or a dying battery. After the problem is fixed, You can reset the check engine light in a few simple steps. First, You need to remove the connections from the battery. Then, turn Your ignition on and off three times in succession. At this point, You will be able to connect the battery again, and start Your engine. The check engine light should now be gone.

If the check engine light is on in your 2017 chevy trax vehicle you may be low on fuel or oil, be experiencing a loss of engine pressure or driving on a low battery charge.
