If You have engine noise from the 2015 Chevy Equinox then it can be many things. The most common is a loose bolt in the engine mount, which will allow it to vibrate while it is running. You may have an issue with the air intake manifold or the idle air control if the engine shudders when You are ideal. This is because the amount of air in the engine is not correct and it is struggling to get combustion. An issue with the fuel injection system or the fuel pump will also make it shudder, due to a lack of fuel. All of these issues are serious and will need to be addressed, with the price ranging greatly depending on what the problem is.

A low level of oil or loose components are some of the most common issues that can cause the ticking noise.
