The code p069e on the Chevy Cruze means the fuel pump control module has detected a problem with the fuel system of the vehicle such as a failed pressure sensor. The fuel pump control module works by supplying and regulating the voltage to the fuel pump relay and fuel pump. There are multiple causes for this code, including Defective fuel pump controller or PCM, Bad or tripped fuel puMPVoltage shutoff (inertia) switch, Open fuel pump control module voltage supply circuit or Failed or a progRamming error in PCM. The fuel pump control module must be progRammed with the proper calibration software. The module stores and utilizes this information. If it is not properly configured with the correct calibration software, the fuel pump control module will not control all of the vehicle features properly.
